KleenFry is the newly created subsidiary of Osgood Investments, a Series LLC, owned by a Disabled Veteran operating in Texas.

The journey to business ownership led me to cooking oil management in 2019 as a Route Service Technician. During this time, I learned the techniques of cleaning deep fryers, filtering cooking oil, and or removing waste cooking oil from food service establishments. I knew immediately that I found my niche, my mind transitioned from employee to business owner and my entrepreneurial spirit took ownership of this role. I started to look at all my responsibilities in a new light. I found myself constantly pondering the question: "How can I do this better?” Fast forward a year, I began researching cooking oil filtration/fryer management companies and oil filtration equipment suppliers. I spoke with many suppliers, and only one was aligned with my passion and vision for KleenFry. He explained that the most important rule of cooking oil filtration I need to know, was to filter my oil every day; I was clueless about this fact and unaware that filtering fryers once, twice, or even three times a week was ineffective. The only way to truly maintain quality and ensure safe, consistent frying temperatures, the cooking oil is to be filtered daily. That conversation gave me a new perspective and presented an opportunity to build a partnership between our companies. I thought it would make KleenFry productive sooner, offer access to a wide range of expertise, and afford the flexibility to pursue more business opportunities. With this newfound information, I had to make some changes to my vision for the company. The only way I would be able to maintain such a high level of quality for cooking oil is to place a filtration machine on the premises of each food establishment.
